Opioid outrage is galvanizing State Attorneys General to take action—they have conducted multistate bipartisan investigations, and are suing opioid manufacturers for allegedly engaging in “a carefully crafted campaign of deception” by overprescribing, fraudulently misrepresenting the risks posed and the risks of opioids as a gateway drug. The webinar provides an overview of the various lawsuits and claims at issue, and issues to watch as the lawsuits move forward.
