Committee Program Call

Program Description:
The Public Land & Resources Committee is hosting a Committee Program Call concerning one of the most interesting issues facing environmental and natural resources lawyers today: the past, present, and future of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Our esteemed speakers—current and former officials in the White House Council on Environmental Quality—will provide perspectives on where NEPA has been and where it is going. Topics will include CEQ’s efforts to modernize and reinvigorate NEPA over the last 20 years; lessons learned from past initiatives; recent CEQ guidance and efforts and the current administration’s direction; and thoughts for future initiatives and priorities.

Moderator:
Hadassah (Dessa) Reimer, Holland & Hart LLP, Jackson, WY

Speakers:

Edward A. Boling, Council on Environmental Quality, Executive Office of the President, Washington, DC
Horst Greczmiel, Washington DC
