With most cases settling before trial, it is critical that lawyers develop negotiation skills and proficiency at advocating in the mediation setting. This program will highlight strategies for conducting more efficient negotiations and mediations and provide tools for lawyers to skillfully advocate for their clients when conducting negotiations, persuasion and influence in the negotiation and decision-making process. This program will also feature a discussion about ways to avoid ethical pitfalls in the negotiation and mediation process.
