ABA Free CLE Series - a monthly program where members can earn FREE continuing legal education credits.
The opioid epidemic is one of the most threatening public health crises in recent decades. Misuse, abuse, and drug overdoses from "pain killers" continues to be the leading cause of accidental death in the United States. As pain management has become more of a treatment priority, public health, regulatory and private practice lawyers all play an important role in reversing this trend.
In this month's ABA Free CLE Series our faculty will review legal and related issues lawyers should be aware of when advising clients, and current public policy, enforcement and healthcare provider trends in combating this crisis.
