FREE CLE webinar

A retrospective, introspective and prospective look at ERISA through the development of pension plan law. This FREE CLE will take an in-depth look at ERISA’s inception, development and future by examining the development and maturation of the law, regulations and administration of pension plans. Since ERISA’s enactment in 1974, there has been much change and exponential growth in the retirement plan area. However, despite the maturation of retirement plans and the numerous options available, there are still challenges. These challenges include failures, market changes, gaps and most importantly, the challenge of sustainability going forward. Drawing from the maturation of health care law and the enactment of ACA to bridge what was perceived to be a significant gap; the panel will discuss potential future developments in ERISA with respect to pension plans and what may be proposed to address the gaps that exist today.
